Squid Lab is a special effect make up workshop, based in Wallonia, near Brussels – Belgium.
Erwan Simon and Daphnée Beaulieux, makeup artists and costume designers for cinema and the entertainment industry, created it in 2011. Since then, they have continued shooting for various international directors. In 2021 they won the “Ensor” prize for best makeup for their work on the film “Yummy” by Lars Damoiseau.
Counting on multidisciplinary experienced profiles, they welcome different artists according to the running collaborative projects. They can provide a large scale of products : sfx make up, protheses, props, masks, blood, fake tattoos, costume design...
